Student's Book
· 15 units, covering all the skills

Unit Structure
Each unit has the following structure:
Start Off - an introduction to the topic of the reading textReading - one of the three types of ECCE reading texts with comprehension
questions (ECCE-type) and open questions
Vocabulary - vocabulary tasks related to the reading text vocabulary and an
ECCE-type vocabulary task covering text-related vocabulary and other items
Grammar - a brief presentation with tasks based on the presentation and appendix,
including an ECCE-type grammar task
Speaking - including examiner's questions and information so that students
can role-play the oral exam
Listening - one of the two different types of ECCE listening task
Writing - ECCE writing tasks together with samples (both types of ECCE writing,
the letter and the essay, are given in each unit)
